Hornets are Transitioning Back to Full Time
As we plan to have students back at Holloway Elementary, we have made many changes to accommodate student safety.
A major change to our daily routines will be a change in drop off and pick up procedures.
When looking at the map, please note the following
•We will use the same entrance and exit as always
•Buses will enter the first line of traffic and park in the spots furthest east
•Cars will pull along the sidewalk to let students out, always pulling the furthest east possible
•Students being dropped off will exit the passenger side door directly on to the sidewalk and enter the main doors
•Breakfast doors open at 8:10 a.m., all doors open at 8:15 a.m.
•Students riding the bus who would like breakfast will be released at 8:10, traffic will be stopped, and they will enter the main doors
•Students riding the bus will be released at 8:15 to enter the east doors, traffic will be stopped and buses will be released
At the end of the day, bus riders will continue to be released first. Cars for pick up should line up along the side walk. All buses will be released prior to car traffic moving. There will be no car parking at the east end of the lot, those spots will be reserved for buses. We anticipate these changes will have a positive impact on traffic flow and student safety. Please be patient with us as we work through the first two weeks with all students in attendance. New bus routes will be posted on the district website by Monday, March 8.
