Buzz Bucks Winner Board!
Student recognition is a big part of our PBIS (Positive Behavior Incentive Support) program. Since the start of the school year, when a student has been selected as a classroom winner, each received a Wendy’s gift certificate and a positive phone call home.
The PBIS team wanted to do more to recognize Buzz Buck winners where the entire school would be aware of their accomplishments of being respectful, responsible, prepared and safe. To do this, a chalkboard was installed and Holloway’s art teacher, Mrs. Haubert, designed a colorful display to put our winner’s names on it. Third grade teacher, Mrs. Hasemeyer, writes in the biweekly winners’ names on the board and updates the names after each drawing.
Now when students are selected as their classroom winners, they will have their picture taken with the board to go along with the positive phone call home and Wendy’s gift certificate.
