Character Counts–Empathy

Each month Crissey Elementary recognizes students who have exemplified exceptional character. The character trait that students focused on for the month of December was empathy. Throughout the month, the Crissey staff helped students understand the meaning of empathy. At the end of the month, all classroom teachers nominated one student from their class they felt displayed qualities of this word.

These students were: Ariel S., Mrs. Hohlbein; Everett I., Mrs. Young; Lyam K., Ms. Bell; Olivia F., Ms. Crawford; Aniyah E., Mrs. Brock; Cole M., Mrs. O’Hearn; Corbin M., Mrs. Gwozdz; Mia R., Mrs. Schrag; Riley A., Mrs. Purdue; Bailey H., Mrs. Meeker; Aubree R., Mrs. Newcombe; Aurora B., Mr. Fritch, and Koralynn S., Mr. Scroggs.
