Activities are Picking Up
With spring break still several weeks away, it is still nice to see some spring temperatures in the upcoming forecast.
Hopefully, this allows all of us, students included, to get outside after school and enjoy fresh air. Like their activities, there are even a few events of note, too, for families. If you missed the Holland Parent Council’s monthly meeting last week, I can share a tease that they have some fun plans in store for everyone before this school year ends.
Our teachers have some plans “up their sleeves,” too. Who isn’t excited about the return to several of our classroom traditions? Mrs. Brown announced that Kids Heart Challenge Day will be Wednesday, March 30. Donation packets will be due by April 1. For kindergarten through third grade students the added incentive is the “Pie in the Face” for raising at least $30. The fourth and fifth graders will be able to play dodgeball the last day before break for raising $30 or more.
Thank you for always supporting this wonderful cause. We raise money for the American Heart Association while also earning vouchers for PE equipment.
One of the most enjoyable things I get to do as principal is to celebrate the accomplishments of students, especially our young scholars who achieve “All A’s and All A’s and B’s.” Join me and our teachers in honoring the following students:

Lastly, I would like to thank all who have taken the time to nominate a member of our staff for our monthly Devil of a Difference awards.
These nominations mean a great deal to all of us. I also want to encourage families to consider nominating a member of our staff for the annual “Employee of the Year” awards. Links are on the homepage of the website.
