The Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce and Belleville Brothers’ Meat will host their annual porka-lean fund-raiser for the BG community fireworks.
The event is set for Wednesday, June 15, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the downtown BG farmers market, corner of South Main and Clough streets.
Tents will be set up on the southeast corner and guests will be asked to line up along the east side of the market to place their order.
The event is donation based.
“Thanks to Belleville Brothers’ Meat for working with us yet once again on our pork-a-lean fund-raiser,” said Mary Hinkelman, chamber executive director. “It has become an annual tradition that people really look forward to, and they are supporting the community fireworks too.”
This year’s fireworks display will take place Sunday, July 3, at dusk.
