Due to inclement weather last Friday, the Village of Holland and the Dwelling Place rescheduled this month’s Picture in the Park.
The movie “Elf” will be shown outdoors at dusk, Friday, July 8 at Strawberry Acres Park. The theme of this evening is Christmas in July, and events begin at 7 p.m., with family activities including balloon animals and puppets.
There also will be live entertainment by EZ Pickens. Popcorn, hot dogs and beverages will be served for free along with a special cool treat, said Pastor Roger Trowbridge of the Dwelling Place.
There is a nominal fee for candy and carbonated beverages.
Moviegoers are asked to bring folding chairs and blankets for the featured presentation. Strawberry Acres Park is at 950 South McCord Road, Holland.
