Welcome to the 2022-23 School Year
The weather is beautiful as we look to return to school in less than two weeks. Our dedicated staff is anxiously awaiting the arrival of our new and returning students. We are all geared up for a wonderful 2022-23 school year. As we enter this new school year filled with changes, I want you to know our teachers and staff are looking forward to providing a variety of engaging and challenging learning experiences for your child this year. We are committed to our students and families to make sure your child feels respected, supported and cared for. We appreciate your continued support, and please feel free to contact the school if you have any questions.
District and school information can be found on the district website, along with a list of school supplies your child will need. The website can be found at springfield-schools.org. If you are looking for the school supply list, once on the website, click Our Schools>Crissey Elementary> Supply list. If you are unable to purchase school supplies, please contact the school office for a list of community resources and organizations that may be able to assist you.

Wednesday through Monday, August 24 to 29: Springfield Local Schools Jumpstart Days (no school, kindergarten through fifth grade). Thursday, August 25: Crissey Parents’ Club Elf Night, 5 p.m. Thursday, August 25 Crissey Parents’ Club general meeting, 6:30 p.m.
Friday, August 26: District Instant Alert Test at 5 p.m. Tuesday, August 30: kindergarten boys only and first day of school for first through fifth grades. Wednesday, August 31: kindergarten girls only and second day of school for first through fifth grades.
