Elizabeth Welker, a 2021 graduate of Springfield High School, has continued her athletic and academic prowess at Trine University in Angola, Indiana. During her freshmen year, she played on the varsity tennis team, above, and the dance team. Academically, Elizabeth was named to the president’s list both semesters with a combined grade point average of 3.95. She was named freshman of the year in Communications and Humanities and was an MIAA Conference All Academic student athlete. Elizabeth will continue her education at Trine this fall. She is the daughter of Jerry and Lori Welker.
