References to the district’s portrait of a graduate might cause Holloway families to wonder how this applies to our pre-kindergarten through third grade children. I can answer that. Every member of the Holloway Elementary School staff recognizes that constructing a firm foundation for success starts as soon as each student arrives at school. Of course, we must focus on academics; however, we will also remain focused, too, on instilling and celebrating positive behaviors, character lessons and life skills.
January’s character trait of the month, integrity, is one of the six competencies that were identified by the portrait of a graduate design team.
Our staff works very hard throughout the month (and every day, actually) to help our young Hornets recognize how their behaviors and decisions impact one another and the culture of our school. Join us in celebrating all Holloway students, especially those selected for demonstrating their very best character during the month of January.
