Ballet Theatre of Toledo hosts open house

The Ballet Theatre of Toledo (BTT) will welcome prospective students to an open house at their Holland facility, 1124 Corporate Drive, on Monday, May 8, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., and Wednesday, May 10, from 5 to 7 p.m.

Families are invited to observe classes, tour the studios, meet faculty, register for summer classes and camps and talk with current parents about their experience at BTT.

The studio is a non-profit community arts organization, offering classes for boys and girls aged three-and-a-half through adult. BTT focuses on artistry and collaborative storytelling rather than competitions, and parents often praise the studio for its fun and supportive environment where students can learn and perform.

BTT is under the artistic direction of Nigel Burgoine, recipient of a 2020 Ohio Governor’s Award for the Arts in Arts Education and a former principal dancer with the English National Ballet.

The studio’s mission is to inspire a life-long passion for ballet and the performing arts in our dancers and audiences.
