On May 18, out of more than 250 Springfield Middle School sixth grade students, 23 were selected to participate in the inaugural PBIS Honors Luncheon. Popular local restaurant, Rosie’s Italian Grille, hosted the event. We would be remiss to neglect a huge shout out to sixth grade intervention specialist, Eric Bachar, who organized the event and placed an emphasis on demonstrating excellent leadership, behavior, preparedness and academic achievement during the course of the entire school year.
Congratulations to the students, each of whom consistently exhibited strong character qualities in their core classes, electives and out in the community throughout the 2022-23 school year. Thank you to these remarkable students for representing Springfield Local Schools with dignity and class throughout the year.
