The Toledo Humane Society will welcome guests back to their largest fund-raiser of the year, PawVilion.
This year’s event will take place on Friday, August 25, at the Venues in downtown Toledo.
PawVilion guests will enjoy a four-course meal prepared by local chef, Scott Peirce, owner of Tree City Catering. Cocktails will be served at 6, and guests will take their seats for dinner at 7 p.m. Dress is country club casual.
Guests can bid on auction items, including the opportunity to see their own pet shine as PawVilion 2023’s “Pet of the Year,” complete with a personal pet photoshoot, donated by Grand Lubell Photography.
When asked how important the funds raised at PawVilion are to the shelter’s livelihood, Stephen Heaven, THS president and CEO, said, “Events like this ensure that we’re able to continue providing life saving services to the pets of Lucas County.”
To help achieve their goal of $175,000, individuals ark asked to participate as a table captain, who will bring a minimum of nine people to the event who share a desire to support THS.
The cost to attend is $250 per person.
