The Lucas County Operating Vehicles Intoxicated (OVI) Task Force will conduct two sobriety checkpoints on July 28.
The checkpoints will be at 6355 Angola Road, Springfield Township, and 13502 Airport Highway, Swanton Township. They will be in operation this evening from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. The checkpoints are staffed by officers from the Lucas County OVI Task Force and are paid for through the OVI Task Force grant from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
