The Sylvania Community Orchestra is holding their fourth annual Summer Pops concert as part of their Summer Serenades Concert Series. The concert will be held on the west side of Olander Park at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, August 23. The event is free, but donations are welcome, and will support the Sylvania Community Orchestra’s work and events like the concert.
There will also be a special appearance by members of the Ballet Theatre of Toledo as a part of the show.
Attendees can bring lawn chairs, blankets and picnic baskets to sit and enjoy an event featuring musical selections of all kinds, including patriotic pieces, American jazz music, children’s “farmyard classics” and others.
