Ability Center seeks donations of items

The Ability Center is seeking donations of essential items to support its clients.

“Our ongoing mission to provide exceptional support has led us to an urgent requirement for essential items,” said Mallory Crooks, director of public relations.

Items needed include manual wheelchairs enabling mobility and freedom; knee scooters supporting injury recovery with ease: portable bedside commodes ensuring comfort and dignity; tub transfer benches that enhance safety during bathing.

To drop off one of the items, call 419-885-5733. The Ability Center is at 5605 Monroe Street, Sylvania.

The center is open 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Friday.
