with plenty to celebrate.
As we near the end of our first month at Holland Intermediate, I was reminded of two special events that took place. First, our Holland Parent Council hosted a back-toschool bash on Friday, September 8. Families were invited for an evening of food trucks, a bouncy house, yard games, music and photo opportunities. The weather cooperated and the event was heavily attended. This will definitely be a yearly tradition.
The second celebration was the announcement of five Holland Intermediate students getting accepted to the 2024 Ohio All State Children’s Choir. This event is put on by the Ohio Music Education Association and it is the highest honor in the state. Congratulations to the following Holland Intermediate students for this incredible accomplishment: Aaron Kidd, Alayna Brazzil, Barrett Castillo, Isla Robinson and Makenzie Burnham, The event will take place on Thursday, February 1, at the Columbus Convention Center.
It brings me great joy as the building principal to start off the year with so much to celebrate.
