On Friday, October 20, the Springfield Middle School band joined forces with the high school Blue Devil marching band and color guard for an electrifying performance of “We Got the Beat.”
Performing this song during the varsity football pre-game show has become a Springfield tradition and is considered one of our favorite performances of the year. The crowd was treated with the addition of 220 middle school students as they danced and played their hearts out alongside the high school musicians and color guard. The band was under the direction of Springfield Middle School band director Emily Golick.
Their dedication and talent has shone brightly through their performance and we are incredibly proud of what these students have accomplished these last few months. Great job middle school musicians.
