Healing of Our Veterans Equine Services, better known as HOOVES, is holding their annual charity event, the Sagebrush and Spurs Western Charity Gala, on Friday, September 6, from 6 to 11 p.m., at the Maumee Bay Lodge and Conference Center in Oregon.
The western-themed evening is one of HOOVES’ signature events of the year, bringing together community leaders and advocates for a night of celebration and fundraising.
All proceeds from the gala will directly support HOOVES programs, which empower veterans, first responders and at-risk youth through the healing power of horses.
Guests will be treated to a night of rustic charm and Western flair, featuring a gourmet dinner, country music and a silent auction with exclusive items and experiences. The event will also include special guest speakers and testimonials from individuals whose lives have been transformed by HOOVES programs.
“The Sagebrush and Spurs Gala is more than just a night of fun—it’s an opportunity for our community to come together and make a tangible difference in the lives of those who have served our country and those in need,” said Amanda Held, founder and executive director of HOOVES. “We are excited to celebrate with our supporters and continue our mission of providing hope and healing through equine-assisted services.”
Tickets cost $150 or $250 for VIP tickets. They are available online for purchase at hooves.us/sagebrush-spursgala.
