The closure of the intersection at McCord Road and Bancroft Street has been extended until August 23 Construction began July 22 and was to last 30 days, according to the Lucas County commissioners, who awarded the project to Vernon Nagel Inc. of Napoleon.
The company is constructing a roundabout at the intersection in Springfield and Sylvania townships.
The detours remain:
•Bancroft Street–Holland Sylvania Road from Bancroft to Dorr Street; Dorr from Holland Sylvania to McCord and McCord from Dorr to Bancroft
•McCord Road–Bancroft from McCord to King Road; King from Bancroft to Dorr, and Dorr from King to Mc-Cord.
