Five Lakes Church will host the grand opening of its new facility, at 4255 Mitchaw Road, Sylvania, on Sunday, September 29, at 9 and 11 a.m.
Founded in 1965, the church has been a cornerstone of the Sylvania community, known for its emphasis on biblical teaching, worship and community impact. Over the decades, the church has seen consistent growth, leading to several building expansions on its original McCord Road site. By the 2010s, it became clear that a new facility was needed to accommodate the growing congregation and further the church’s mission.
The new Mitchaw Road facility is a realization of that vision, offering expanded space to welcome and inspire more individuals and families across northwest Ohio. Currently, Five Lakes Church reaches more than 1,100 people each week through its worship services. The new building provides an opportunity to enhance this outreach, offering an even more dynamic and engaging worship experience.
The grand opening worship services will be identical, each lasting approximately 70 minutes. All are welcome to attend and experience the community and worship that Five Lakes Church is known for.
