The Lucas County Board of Developmental Disabilities will hold its third annual trunk and treat event on Tuesday, October 15. The event will run from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., at the agency’s headquarters, 1154 Larc Lane, Toledo.
More than 1,000 people are expected for this free event, which is open to the community and provides a safe and inclusive space for everyone.
Candy and toys will be handed out from nearly 50 trunks, which are hosted by board staff, area businesses and organizations and Lucas DD’s provider partners.
Participants will be invited to vote online for their favorite trunk with a prize pack awaiting the people’s choice for best trunk.
There will also be Halloween- themed dance performances by members of the iDance Performing Arts Center.
