I wanted to thank our community, and especially our students, for leading a drive for hurricane victims in North Carolina. This came to us very late and we had a three-day turnaround, but the efforts from Mrs. Adams and the Business Professionals of America club were well worth it. Mrs. Adams asked that I share the following statement with all of you.
LIVE TO GIVE DONATION DRIVE
On behalf of Bonita Adams, Barbara Pitsinger and the BPA members, we send out a BIG THANK YOU to Taylor Redinger, publicist of Springfield; Mr. Robb Brown, principal of Springfield High School; the staff and students of SHS, and to the entire Springfield community who together donated an enormous amount of items … too many to count. Donations were coming in as we were preparing to load the truck. If you assisted in any way to help us facilitate this drive to help the hurricane victims in North Carolina, we appreciate you. In such a short period of time the Springfield community worked together to show tremendous support and we are thankful for you. We were so honored to be asked by Lisa Guthrie, to partner with her and Toledo Public Schools, on this awesome “Live To Give” donation drive.
