Metroparks Toledo is hosting an upcycling event, Pupcycling, on Friday, November 15, from 3 to 6 p.m., in the Ward Pavilion at Wildwood Preserve Metropark.
Staff, their families and other volunteers are invited to help repurpose old Metroparks camp shirts to create dog toys for local shelters.
Participants can make a dog or cat toy to keep or donate. All supplies will be provided.
This opportunity will be open house style, so participants may stop by whenever they can to enjoy treats, a movie and make pet toys.
