Toledo Helps Ukraine recently shipped 28 pallets, weighing 16,000 pounds, and valued at more than $280,000 to Ukraine. The shipment contained medical supplies and humanitarian aid. The items were collected during THU’s Pallets for Purpose drive in which businesses, organizations, and individuals donated humanitarian goods to send to Ukraine. The shipment contained expired medical items or decommissioned equipment that cannot be used in the United States but can be used in Ukraine, along with many other recycled donations.
