With the Thanksgiving break wrapping up and headed into December, I was thinking of what I would share this week. I’ve had a lot of really cool things going on with the kids and it’s really sometimes just a matter of how to package it and get it out to everybody. Each November, one of the biggest events that we have is our drama show. Every time I see one of our shows, it reminds me of how talented our students are.
The show this year was “You Can’t Take it with You.” As usual, the show was phenomenal. Our students continue to do amazing things and to see the level of production, the timing, the lights, the choreography, everything is truly amazing. I’m so thankful for all the kids pictured above and all their hard work. It is absolutely amazing to see these kids and what they accomplish. Each of the students put in hours of effort and work to have a quality production. What people do not realize though, is the volume of effort that goes into what our drama team does. There are hours of rehearsal, set building, publicity. But there also are many sponsors, dinner coordinators, ticket sales and various ways our staff and families get involved. So many student cast members and so many behind the scenes people who help make this show possible. Congratulations to everyone in the show. And I’m so proud of all their efforts.
P.S. Lily–OUTSTANDING– I never saw the theatrics on the playgrounds of Holloway.
John Beatrice to Participate in OMEA Northwest Regional Orchestra
