Citizen Advisory Group is thrilled to share the success of its holiday charity drive benefiting Poppy’s Purpose. This organization provides care packages and support to parents with premature babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Founded by Taylor Rill, daughter-in-law of CAG team member Kelly Rill, Poppy’s Purpose understands firsthand the unique challenges and needs of NICU families.
Thanks to the tremendous generosity of their clients and the community, they were able to collect an array of essential items that will make a difference in the lives of NICU families: •More than $550 in DoorDash gift cards, providing warm meals and food for the families
•121 pairs of socks
•200 containers of chapstick
•95 notebooks
•67 swaddles
•23 water bottles
•Four bottles for infant care
•Additional monetary donations from our generous supporters Citizen Advisory Group matched the total amount of items collected with a monetary donation to Poppy’s Purpose.
These contributions demonstrate the community’s commitment to supporting NICU families during their challenging journey. Each item collected will directly impact the parents and babies served by Poppy’s Purpose, making their NICU stay a little more comfortable and letting them know they are not alone.
