The Toledo Craftsman’s Guild annual Spring Festival of Crafts will be Saturday, March 8, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday, March 9, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Premier Banquet Hall on Heatherdowns Boulevard, across from the Stranahan Theatre, is the venue. The guild is celebrating its 50th anniversary.
Many new crafters and artists have been juried in with their handmade crafts and art items. Handcrafted spring items for Easter, Mother’s Day, graduation and weddings will be featured.
Items include painted seasonal yard, home and floral decorations, solid wood and fabric items, metal work, candles, lotions and scents, jewelry and more. The hall will be filled with handcrafted items, and many members of the guild will fill special orders.
The guild also will be collecting food and household items to benefit the Toledo Seagate Food Bank.
Admission and parking are free, and there will be drawings for gift certificates. Refreshments will be provided by food trucks out front.
