The Ability Center of Greater Toledo announces that, after an extensive review, the board of directors has appointed Ash Lemons as executive director. Lemons, who has dedicated more than 23 years to the Ability Center, has been serving as interim executive director and brings a deep commitment to the mission of making the community the most disability-friendly in the nation.
“We are thrilled to officially welcome Ash as our executive director,” said Adrienne Bell, chair of the board of directors. “Ash’s long-standing dedication, leadership and vision make him the ideal person to guide the Ability Center forward. His passion for empowering people with disabilities and his commitment to collaboration will ensure continued progress toward our ambitious goals.”
Lemon’s leadership has been instrumental in expanding services, strengthening community partnerships and advocating for greater accessibility and inclusion. As he steps into this role, he remains focused on enhancing our programs, deepening our impact and fostering a culture of innovation and inclusivity.
