The Toledo Polish Genealogical Society will meet Saturday, April 12, from 10 to 11 a.m., at St. Michael’s School Hall, 420 Sandusky Street, Toledo.
The program will be “What you need to know about Calvary Cemetery.” Eric Westhoven will answer some common questions, such as:
•What does the process of planning my final arrangements look like?
•Why is the Diocese no longer running the cemetery?
•Why do I need to meet with someone at the cemetery prior to passing?
•What happens when someone passes and their arrangements are not met?
•What does pre-planning my cemetery arrangements accomplish?
•Is it true if my family has already purchased plots at the cemetery, I don’t need to worry about anything else?
• My family already owns the space, why can’t we do what we want with it?
• How do I go about planning ahead?
