The Board of Lucas County Commissioners is inviting residents to take an active role in shaping the future of their community by applying to serve on various boards, commissions and advisory committees.
These appointments provide an opportunity for individuals to contribute their expertise, insight and passion to local government, ensuring that Lucas County remains a thriving, wellmanaged community.
“Public participation is essential to good governance,” the commissioners said in a joint statement. “By lending their talents to serve on a board, residents will have the chance to weigh in on key decisions, advocate for important issues and help guide policies that impact the lives of their fellow residents.”
Residents from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Whether they have experience in business, public service, law or another field, there are numerous opportunities to make an impact.
The county is currently accepting applications for the following boards:
