ProMedica offers a monthly stroke support group at the Flower Hospital Conference Center, rear of hospital, 5150 Harroun Road, Sylvania, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
On Thursday, April 24, the topic will be recovering from aphasia led by the University of Michigan Aphasia Centre with speaker Madeline Miller.
The Thursday, May 8, 6:30 p.m. meeting will be an outing to the Toledo Mud Hens for Strike Out Stroke for Stroke Awareness Month. Contact Melinda Hendricks-Jones for tickets.
