The University of Toledo will present A Midsummer Night’s Dream: A Jukebox
Musical on April 10 through 19.
Performance dates are Thursday through Saturday, April 10, 11 and 12, at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, April 13, at 2 p.m. The next week, on Thursday and Friday, April 17 and 18, at 7:30 p.m., and Saturday, April 19 at 2 and 7:30 p.m.
The University of Toledo Department of Theatre and Film will present the timeless Shakespeare comedy, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, in an imaginative and musical production. Director Matt Foss, the UToledo theatre professor, who adapted the play into a musical, says the university’s production takes a “precise, rigorous approach to the text and the verse with explosive imaginations around what Shakespeare could and can be.”
Tickets are $10 to $25, although all shows are free to UToledo students with Rocket ID. A free performance will be presented Thursday, April 10.
Handicap-accessible parking, entrances and restrooms are available. The theatre performance space also is accessible, with room for wheelchairs and walkers. Open captioning of live performances for the hard of hearing is available.

Free parking is available for the Sunday show, and the Saturday shows–only after 5 p.m. (Area 12 only).
