Sylvania Senior Center programs, events Oct. 27-31

The Sylvania Senior Center, 7140 West Sylvania Avenue, offers meals and a variety of programs and activities for area seniors.

Center hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Area Office on Aging of Northwestern Ohio, Inc., in conjunction with the TRIO Community Meals, offers dine-in meals Monday through Friday, 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Call or visit the website to make reservations or reserve lunch while at the center.

A current menu is available in the lobby and on the website.

Reservations should be made by noon the day before.

Medicare 101

The Ohio Department of Aging and Social Security Administration presents Medicare 101 with David Painter, Wednesday, October 29, from 1 to 3 p.m., in the dining room. Stop in the office or call 419-885-3913 to make reservations.

Presentation will cover Medicare Parts A through D, Medigap and more.
