Sylvania Senior Center programs, events Nov. 10-14

The Sylvania Senior Center, 7140 West Sylvania Avenue, offers meals and a variety of programs and activities for area seniors.

Center hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Area Office on Aging of Northwestern Ohio, Inc., in conjunction with the TRIO Community Meals, offers dine-in meals Monday through Friday, 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Call or visit the website to make reservations or reserve lunch while at the center.

A current menu is available in the lobby and on the website.

Reservations should be made by noon the day before.

Cards of Kindness

A new community program to spread joy and connection by reaching out to individuals in local care centers or those confined to their homes is starting.

Participants will sign, package and help distribute homemade greeting cards. The center already has cards, but needs participants to share kind words and warm wishes.
