We’re all aware that the core subjects (math, reading, science and language arts) are very important for your child’s education. While we focus on these subjects, let’s not forget about the value of fine arts education (art and music), physical education and steam classes. Each week, Crissey students enjoy expressing themselves with Ms. Middleton, Mr. Kaczmarek, Mr. Elliott and Ms. Bell. Students participate in music and physical education class twice a week with Ms. Middleton and Mr. Elliott. Once a week, the students have the opportunity to create their own masterpiece and learn about different art techniques in art class with Mr. Kaczmarek and use their critical thinking skills in steam with Ms. Bell.
On Thursday, April 25, we will have our annual Spring Arts Festival. Students in grades kindergarten and first will show off their vocals as they put on a display. Creative art work from all grades will be displayed in the hallways. Please join us on April 25.
