Sylvania’s Holiday Passport Program: The Season of Lights

The Sylvania Area Chamber of Commerce and Red Bird Sylvania have launched the Holiday Passport Program: the Season of Lights, a festive way for the community to support nearly 30 local businesses this holiday season. Shoppers are invited to collect stamps by shopping at participating locations to unlock exclusive rewards, enjoy festive surprises and become eligible for weekly prizes and a grand prize drawing.

From November 1 through January 3, 2025, passports are available at participating businesses or online at SylvaniaChamber. org. Purchases made at participating businesses help participants to earn stamps, with completed passports entering participants in prize drawings and a special grand prize event.

“Our Season of Lights passport program highlights the best of what Sylvania has to offer, giving shoppers a reason to explore local stores and create lasting memories,” said Natalie Nester, manager of marketing for the Sylvania Area Chamber of Commerce. “This program is more than a shopping incentive–it’s a way to connect with our community and keep holiday dollars local.”

Brigid Steele, manager of events and administration, emphasized the community impact, “This initiative is an incredible opportunity for residents to engage with their hometown in a new way. Each passport stamp is a step toward supporting the small businesses that make Sylvania a unique and vibrant place to live.”
