Holloway Elementary

Sheriff’s Deputy (and Springfield Township’s Community Service Officer) Aalea Robertson was visiting our school recently during the second grade lunch period, when one of the students took notice of how much she resembled her mom. The student, Shiloh Anderson, was introduced to Officer Robertson and immediately asked if one day she, too, could become a sheriff’s deputy.

Crissey Elementary

Each month, Crissey Elementary recognizes students who have exemplified one of the Springfield portrait of a graduate traits. The character trait that students focused on for the month of April was critical thinking.

Dorr Elementary School News

Second and third grade career day was a great success. Penta Career Center came to Dorr Elementary and gave career presentations to all of our second and third grade students. Students learned about various career clusters like business management, architecture, construction, cosmetology and more. Thank you to Penta Career Center for bringing career awareness to our students at Dorr Elementary.

Springfield High School News

On the evening of Tuesday, April 25, in the school’s George Tombaugh Auditorium, President Corinne Shull welcomed current members, candidates, family members, faculty, administrators, school board members and other guests to the 2023 induction ceremony for the Springfield High School Frances L. Simon Chapter of the National Honor Society (NHS). She was assisted by fellow officers Audrey Hiser, vice president; Ava Ball, treasurer; Isabella Bobach, secretary; Jessica Mason, service coordinator, and Morgan Amick, public relations.

From the Desk of Principal Andy Evans We are finally done with state testing. Students who were absent for testing will be pulled throughout the week to make up their missing test.
