Gabby Ruiz
Springfield High School sophomore cheerleader Gabby Ruiz is an Athlete of the Week.
Gabby stepped in for the last couple basketball games to cheer varsity when the team needed a position filled.
“We were so proud to have her strength and spirit to back spot when we needed her the most. Her willingness to go above and beyond her normal role showed incredible dedication to the team,” said Cheerleading Coach Megan Cantu.
“Gabby is the kind of athlete who always shows up when you need her. She never says ‘no’ when asked to do something new or out of her normal role. She is a coach’s dream—always positive, full of cheer, and a natural leader!”
