Gymnasts to compete at Nationals

Three competitive gymnasts from Exceleration Gymnastics Center (EGC) in Toledo, owned by Kevin and Jennifer Lambdin, recently qualified to compete at Nationals in Florida.

Aizlin Westcott, of Rossford, is the only qualifying female athlete on the team. She is a Level 9 gymnast and a junior at Penta Career Center. Aizlin has been a gymnast for 11 years, and a member of EGC for eight years. This is her first year competing at Nationals. Her competition will be held in Kissimmee on May 7. She is coached by Kelli Kopp, Mike McKee and Kyle Munroe.

Ryan Lambdin is a Springfield resident and a senior at Penta. This is his first year as a Level 9 gymnast and first time qualifying for Nationals. Ryan is the first male gymnast to go through EGC for his entire gymnastics career.

Josh Lankey, of Maumee, is a first year Level 8 gymnast and an eighth grade student at Northwest Ohio Classical Academy. He has been at EGC for six years, and is qualifying for Nationals for the first time.

Both young men are the first male gymnasts from EGC to qualify for Nationals. They are coached by Ashley Lambdin and Kyle Munroe. They will compete in Fort Lauderdale, April 28 to 30.
