Beloved theatre director to take final bow at end of school year

Rob Gentry won’t say it about himself, but others are saying it for him: he’s beloved. And, when he retires from Perrysburg High School at the conclusion of this school year, he’ll be missed.

Mr. Gentry, director of theatre, began his career with the district in 1987. This fall, he’s directing his 100th production: “Lend Me a Tenor.” (See page 2)

He wants people to know, “It isn’t all about me. The people who make this program possible are Deb Drew, assistant director, and Perry King, scenic designer,” Mr. Gentry noted, adding, “And, the cast and crew of each production, too.”
