Board of Education discusses placing levy on November ballot
Student population continues to rise, state funding stays put
Facing continued growth in the student population and limits on how much funding the district receives from the state, Perrysburg Superintendent Tom Hosler and the board of education discussed levy options during its March 5 working group meeting.
“We have to either reduce the budget by $5.5 million or pass a levy,” Superintendent Tom Hosler said during his PowerPoint presentation.
School officials have been grappling with the financial situation for more than a year.
