Japanese auto-related company coming to north Toledo
On September 7, Toledo officials welcomed a new Japanese company to the city.
Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz participated in a ribbon cutting-ceremony for TPAM, a subsidiary of Topia that provides prototyping for the automotive industry.
“It is a leading prototyping company–and one of the few specialist firms that can handle all parts of the product-making process,” the mayor explained. “They join a growing number of cutting edge companies operating in and around Toledo.”
The company is making a $4 million investment and plans to create 30 new jobs– with the potential to hire a significant number of additional workers in the next five years.
This is the firm’s first manufacturing facility in the country.
