Police officers, city department heads granted raises by council
Rossford police officers will receive 3 percent pay raises for the next three years, according to their new union contract.
Rossford City Council approved the contract at their November 26 meeting
The three-year contracts with the patrol officers unit and the command officers unit begin January 1, 2019.
Kent Murphree, attorney for the city, said the contract also increased life insurance coverage from $35,000 to $50,000, and bumped up the annual uniform allowance from $500 to $550.
