Springfield High School boys volleyball continues its historic run, taking game one of regionals in dominant fashion with a three-set sweep on May 13. The victory marks the Blue Devils’ 19th win of the season—setting a new school record for most wins in single season in new era volleyball.
The team’s performance displayed the skill, focus and resilience that have defined their season. With the regional opener behind them, they turned their attention to the May 16 matchup at Walsh Jesuit for game two. Results were unavailable at press time.
Head Coach Tyler Haughawout praised his team’s growth and determination: “I am incredibly proud of our boys. They have exceeded my expectations in every way. But—step by step. Our eyes are on the prize and we are focused on the next game we have to win in the regional tournament.”
The Blue Devils aim to continue their momentum and secure a spot in the next round of the tournament.
