Destination Toledo reports the successful conclusion of Coffee Quest 419, a threemonth adventure that encouraged coffee enthusiasts to explore Toledo’s coffee scene. From March 15 to June 15, coffee lovers checked in at 28 participating local coffee shops, generating just over an estimated $200,000 of economic activity throughout the Toledo region.
This year’s Coffee Quest 419 saw an impressive 4,824 participants, logging more than 24,500 check-ins. The trail offered participants the chance to win a postage stamp sticker and themed keychain, a commemorative T-shirt and entry into a grand prize drawing for those who completed the entire trail. This year, 154 participants visited all 28 locations. A total of 760 participants earned their commemorative T-shirt designed by local graphic designer, Alyson Krajewski, and printed locally by sponsor, Jupmode.
“Coffee Quest 419 has been such a fun initiative for our organization to be part of, it brings together local businesses, plus invites locals and visitors to explore, have fun and support the local community,” said Caleigh Heuring, director of marketing and communications for Destination Toledo. “Through the digital passport we’re able to see that not only are Toledoans loving this quest, but visitors are, too. About 15 percent of participants were from outside the Toledo region this year,” added Heuring.
Coffee Quest 419 is set to return in spring of 2026 with dates, theme, prizes and participants to be announced by Destination Toledo next year. Follow @CoffeeQuest419 on Instagram and Facebook to stay connected to the local coffee scene and for all the latest updates on the quest.
