Ability Center to hold Together We Move on Sunday, June 1

The Ability Center announces Together We Move, a community movement that will bring people of all abilities together at Glass City Metropark–Market Hall, 1505 Front Street, Toledo, on Sunday, June 1.

This free, inclusive and family-friendly event invites attendees to celebrate the power of movement—together. Registration opens at 9 a.m., with the event officially kicking off at 10 a.m. Participants will be welcomed into an atmosphere of connection, empowerment and possibility. “At the heart of Together We Move is a simple yet powerful belief: when we move together, we grow together,” said Maggie Dreier, director of independent living. “This event is about more than movement— it’s about building a future shaped by inclusion, strength, and the stories we share.”

What to Expect:

•Interactive Movement Path—explore a half-mile, paved trail at your own pace, with an optional unpaved route extending up to a mile.

•Adaptive Activities— participate in adaptive sports, a dance party and more inclusive movement experiences.

•Special Guest Speaker —be inspired by elite adaptive athlete and inclusion expert, Jacob Pacheco, as he shares his journey and vision for inclusive empowerment.
