Two Holland residents graduated from Kent State University during the fall commencement exercises held on December 17, at the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center. Area residents who received degrees are: Christina Cruz, bachelor of science degree in the arts, and Mason Hakeos, bachelor of science degree in education, health and human services.
The university awarded 613 associate degrees, 1,478 bachelor’s degrees and 477 graduate degrees to students at the fall graduation ceremony.
