GenoaBank, a locally owned, independent, community bank, announces the appointment of Ashley Hansen as new assistant vice president, commercial loan officer for the Fremont branch.

Hansen has earned a strong reputation in the community as a knowledgeable lender with many years of experience in the banking industry. Hansen is sure to continue the high-quality levels of professionalism and customer service GenoaBank customers have received for years.

Hansen has been in the customer service industry for nearly 20 years. For the last 14 years, Hansen has worked in the financial sector where she has gained experience in customer service, management, bank operations and, for the past five years, as a successful AVP, area manager.

“We are very fortunate and excited to have the opportunity to welcome Ashley to GenoaBank,” said Martin Sutter, president/ CEO. “Hansen’s extensive banking background and broad knowledge of the industry strengthen our core team as we work towards expanding our commercial portfolio.”

Hansen will be based in the bank’s Fremont Branch but will be available to provide commercial lending at any of the bank’s other branches. She will be serving the communities in northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan.

Hansen is a graduate of Gibsonburg High School and attended Terra State Community College and Hondros College. She actively sits on many boards and is the president of the Oak Harbor Area Chamber of Commerce.
