It’s a Tradition Class Lists Posting Day!
There are some terrific traditions that are carried forward every year at Crissey Elementary School to help families and students get acquainted and gear-up for the school year. One of our favorites is the “posting of the class lists.”
We know many students wonder throughout the summer months to which of our wonderful teachers’ classrooms they were assigned for the next school year. We like to make the “reveal” as exciting and special as possible.
On Friday, August 19, students waited in eager anticipation for the class lists to appear–it’s fun to watch the joy as wishes come true.
As a reminder, JumpStart Days will continue into the start of this week and the first day of school for students will be staggered–see below: Tuesday, August 30: First day of school for first through fifth grades, preschool and kindergarten boys only. (Kindergarten girls do not attend.)
Wednesday, Aug 31: Second day of school for preschool through fifth grades, and first day for kindergarten girls only. (Kindergarten boys do not attend.)
Monday, September 5: Labor Day–no school.
Tuesday, September 13: CPC Chick-fil-A Dine-About, 5 to 7 p.m., and CPC executive meeting.
Wednesday, September 14: Board of education meeting, 4:15 p.m.
Wednesday, September 21: CPC Chipotle Dine About Fund-raiser, 4 p.m.
