The Healing Barn, a nonprofit horse rescue facility at 27731 Bradner Road, Millbury, will host “Be a Horse Hero” fund-raiser on Friday, August 25, at Hilton Garden Inn, Perrysburg.
The evening will feature music from DC Taylor, live and silent auctions, food and cash bar. Lissa Guyton from Channel 13 will emcee. The Healing Barn rehabilitates mentally and physically abused and neglected horses. Those that cannot be adopted, live the rest of their lives on the farm.
